National Football Youth League
The National Football Youth League (NFYL) is the top tier of youth football in England. It was founded in 2002 and is currently sponsored by The FA. The league is divided into four divisions: North West Premier, North Premier, Midlands Premier, and South Premier.
The NFYL season runs from August to May. Each team plays each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season qualify for the National Youth Cup.
The NFYL is a breeding ground for future professional footballers. Many players who have gone on to play in the Premier League have played in the NFYL, including Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, and Marcus Rashford.
The NFYL is a great opportunity for young players to develop their skills and progress to the professional game. It is also a great way to see the stars of tomorrow in action.
