Time da Várzea is a Brazilian football (soccer) team that plays in the várzea, or amateur, leagues of São Paulo. The team was founded in 1962 and is based in the Vila Madalena neighborhood of the city.

Time da Várzea has won numerous championships in the várzea leagues, including the Copa Kaiser in 2012 and 2014. The team is known for its passionate fans and its hard-nosed style of play.

History

Time da Várzea was founded in 1962 by a group of friends who wanted to play football in the várzea. The team's first home was a field in the Vila Madalena neighborhood.

Time da Várzea quickly became one of the top teams in the várzea leagues. In 1972, the team won its first championship, the Copa Kaiser. Time da Várzea has won the Copa Kaiser a total of four times, in 1972, 2012, 2014, and 2022.
