Tantuzar FC is a football (soccer) team based in Stafford, England. The club was founded in 1972 and currently plays in the Staffordshire County League Division One.
History
Tantuzar FC was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club started out in the Stafford and District Sunday League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1987, Tantuzar FC joined the Staffordshire County League and has been playing there ever since.
The club's most successful period came in the early 1990s when they won the Staffordshire County League Division Two title in 1991 and the Division One title in 1993. Tantuzar FC also reached the final of the Staffordshire Senior Cup in 1992, but lost to Stafford Town.
In recent years, Tantuzar FC has struggled to maintain their form and have been relegated from the Staffordshire County League Division One on two occasions. However, the club is currently rebuilding and is looking to return to the top flight of Staffordshire football.
Ground
Tantuzar FC plays their home games at the Tandridge Playing Fields in Stafford. The ground has a capacity of 200 spectators.
