More about the team

The club was formed in 1999 after an idea on a boys Sunday night out to enter a team into the Swansea Senior Sunday League. Alan Whiffin , Peter Selby, Dai Brock and Roger Dunkin were probably the 4 most influential lads on that infamous night that were responsible for the football club and the club were formed from a local Sandfields pub and for a short while played under the pubs name New Wyndham.

Roger Dunkin was to become the club manager and Peter Selby took the reigns as club secretary until he resigned due to other commitments in 2005.

Probably the biggest day in the clubs history came in May 2004 when the club then playing under their previous name of the Clarence reached the final of the Sunday Intermediate Cup, in what was one of the last local league finals to be played at the Vetch Field.

In 2005 the club changed pubs and name to the Builders Arms.

The club once again changed its name at the start of the 2008/2009 season to Swansea Jacks and currently compete in Divison 2 of the Swansea Senior League (Sunday Section).

Swansea Jacks FC are based in the Cricketers Pub.
