Sutton Juniors was formed in 1998 by Simon and Alison Town. The club was originally called Sutton Rascals, but was renamed Sutton Juniors as it grew.
The club's first team was the under-7s, and the club has since added teams for older age groups. Today, Sutton Juniors has teams for under-7s to adults.
The club has won several trophies in recent years, including the Craven Aire Wharfe Junior League Cup in 2019 and 2020.
Craven Aire Wharfe Junior League
The Craven Aire Wharfe Junior League is a football league for junior football teams in the Craven, Aire and Wharfe valleys of North Yorkshire. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams in different age groups.
The league is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division One and Division Two. The top teams in each division are promoted to the higher division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
The league also has a cup competition, the Craven Aire Wharfe Junior League Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league.
