Sunrise U12 Football Team
The Sunrise U12 football team is a youth football team based in Masaka, Uganda. The team was founded in 2019 by a group of local coaches and parents who wanted to provide opportunities for young people in the community to play football.
The team currently has 20 players, all of whom are between the ages of 11 and 12. The team trains twice a week and competes in local tournaments.
Recent Accomplishments
- The team won the Masaka District U12 Football Tournament in 2022.
- The team finished third in the Western Uganda U12 Football Tournament in 2022.
- The team has also won several local friendlies.
Future Goals
The team's goal is to continue to develop the skills of its players and to compete at the highest level possible. The team also hopes to inspire other young people in the community to play football.
The team is currently looking for sponsors to help them cover the costs of training, equipment, and travel.
