Sulemanasadiq Football Club is a Ghanaian football club based in Accra New Town. The club was founded in 1972 by Sulemana Saddiq, a local businessman. Sulemanasadik FC currently plays in the Ghana Division Two League, the third tier of Ghanaian football.
History
Sulemanasadiq FC was founded in 1972 by Sulemana Saddiq, a local businessman. The club started playing in the Accra New Town Local League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1980, Sulemanasadik FC was promoted to the Ghana Third Division League. The club spent three seasons in the Third Division League before being promoted to the Ghana Second Division League in 1983.
Sulemanasadiq FC spent 10 seasons in the Second Division League before being promoted to the Ghana Premier League in 1993. The club's stay in the Premier League was short-lived, as they were relegated back to the Second Division League at the end of the 1993-94 season.
Sulemanasadiq FC has been playing in the Third Division League since 1994. The club has never won a major trophy, but they have been runners-up in the Ghana FA Cup on two occasions, in 1986 and 1992.
