The club was founded in 1970 and originally played in the Mid Somerset League Division Two. They won promotion to Division One in 1973 and to the Premiership in 1980.
The club's most successful period was in the early 1990s, when they won the Mid Somerset League Cup in 1990 and 1991 and the Mid Somerset League Premier Division title in 1992.
The club has struggled in recent years and currently sit in 12th place in the Mid Somerset League Premiership.
