St Bonny Bridge FC was founded in 1946 by a group of local men. The club's first season was in the Stirlingshire Amateur League. In 1953, the club joined the West of Scotland Football League, Second Division.
The club won the West of Scotland Football League, Second Division title in 1958. This promotion to the First Division was the club's highest achievement to date.
In 1987, the club was forced to resign from the West of Scotland Football League due to financial difficulties. The club reformed in 1990 and rejoined the West of Scotland Football League, Third Division.
