The team was founded in 2018 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football in a fun and competitive environment. The team currently has around 20 players, all of whom are aged 9 or under.
Springhead U9FC train once a week on a Saturday morning at Springhead Park. They also play matches against other teams in the Hull & District Youth Football League And Cup on a Sunday afternoon.
