The club's most successful period came in the 1970s, when they won the Hampshire League Division 1 on three occasions. They also reached the final of the Hampshire Senior Cup in 1976, but lost to Gosport Borough.
In recent years, SNSFC has struggled to maintain their previous level of success. However, the club is currently undergoing a revival and is hoping to challenge for promotion in the near future.
