The club's home ground is Forest Recreation Ground/Sports Zone, and it also uses Melbourne Park for some of its matches. Midweek training takes place at Forest Sports Zone on Gregory Boulevard and the Play Football Centre in Arnold.
History
Sherwood Community Football Club was founded in 1972 by a group of local residents who wanted to provide a place for children and adults to play football. The club has grown steadily over the years, and now has over 20 teams.
The club has had some success in recent years, winning several local trophies. In 2022, the club's under-18s team won the Nottinghamshire County Cup.
