The Scarborough & District Minor League is a football league for under-12 teams in the Scarborough area. The league was founded in 1970 and currently has 18 teams competing in the league.
The league is divided into two divisions, with the top four teams from each division qualifying for the playoffs at the end of the season. The playoffs determine the league champions and the two teams that will be promoted to the next division.
The Scarborough & District Minor League is a competitive league with a strong tradition of youth development. The league has produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play professional football, including former England internationals David Beckham and Paul Scholes.
