History
Sekampaneng United FC was founded in 1975 by a group of local youth. The club quickly rose through the ranks of the South African football pyramid, and in 1998, they were promoted to the National First Division, the second tier of South African football.
The club spent two seasons in the National First Division, before being relegated back to the SAB League in 2000. Sekampaneng United FC have remained in the SAB League ever since.
