Saastra FC is a football (soccer) team from Gadhdhoo, Maldives. The team was founded in 2010 and currently competes in the Maldives National League, the top division of Maldivian football.
History
Saastra FC was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team in Gadhdhoo. The team quickly rose through the ranks of Maldivian football and won promotion to the Maldives National League in 2015.
Saastra FC has never won the Maldives National League, but they have finished as runners-up on two occasions, in 2017 and 2020. The team has also won the Maldives FA Cup once, in 2019.
