More about the team
The Coach & Horses Football Club was set up in 2007 by Craig Snowden and Steve Cornwell who were looking to set up a game of football for themselves and mates.
The 2007/08 season was the first as a club and an 8th place finish in division 4 as well as a semi final appearnace in the league cup was achieved.
The 2008/09 season was much improved with additional faces and better results, although a final league placing of 8th (same as the previous season) didn't reflect this.
The 2009/10 season saw the club move to the Crooked Billet and change name to the Crooked Billet Boro.
A third consecutive 8th place was achieved but our highest points tally of 20 was accumulated.
Everything changed for the 2010/11 season. After a tough 14 games we came out on top as champions and also made 2 cup finals.
This has resulted in promotion to division 2 for the first time in the clubs history.
The 2011/12 season was about stabilising and we had a comfortable mid table 5th finish.
Very similar results in 2012/13 saw us finish 5th again and also make the divisional cup final with a heart breaking conclusion.
Our 7th season (2013/14) in the CSSFL we played under our 3rd sponsor of 2Dry. A disappointing campaign saw us eliminated at the first hurdle in all 3 cups and a below half way finish.
Our 4th Sponsor, Royal Oak will see us through season 8 (2014/15) in division 1. The highest division we have played in.
