Ripon City Football Club is an English football club based in Ripon, North Yorkshire. They are currently members of the West Yorkshire Association Football League Premier Division, the ninth tier of the English football league system.
History
Ripon City was founded in 1910. They played in the North Riding League until 1974, when they joined the West Yorkshire League. They won the league in 1977–78 and 1988–89.
In 1992, Ripon City joined the Northern Counties East League. They won the league in 2000–01 and were promoted to the Northern Premier League. They have since played in the Northern Premier League Division One North, the Northern Premier League Premier Division, and the National League North.

The league champions are promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One North, while the bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to Division One. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the West Riding County Amateur Football League.
