History
Rimswell FC were founded in 1921 and played in the Stockton Sunday League until 1970. They then joined the Teesside League, where they have remained ever since.
The club's most successful period was in the 1980s, when they won the Teesside League title three times (1981, 1982, and 1985). They also reached the final of the FA Vase in 1982, but lost to Clitheroe.
Rimswell FC have also had a number of players who have gone on to play professional football. These include Paul Gascoigne, who played for the club as a youth, and Keith Houchen, who made over 500 appearances for the club in the 1970s and 1980s.
