Redgrave Rangers F.C. was founded in 1956. The club initially played in the Mid-Suffolk League. In 1978, the club joined the Eastern Counties League. The club remained in the Eastern Counties League until 2002, when they were promoted to the Premier Division of the Thurlow Nunn League.
In 2016, the Thurlow Nunn League merged with the Suffolk & Ipswich League to form the Macron Suffolk & Ipswich League. Redgrave Rangers F.C. were placed in the Premier Division of the new league.
