Welcome to the Real Riverside FC page. The club was formed on the 12th July 2003 by members of Riverside church in Birmingham.We play in the Birmingham Amateur Football Association league and have two teams,an A team which was promoted to Division 6 in 2010, whilst our B team now play in Division 8.
At the end of the season 2010-11 Real Riverside having led the Division 6 league table for most of the season finished in 3rd place; an improvement from 5th position the season before.
The A team won promotion and will be playing in Division 5 for the 2011-2012 season.
The aims of the club include; giving players of varying abilities the chance to express their God-given talents, develop as players, decent individuals and the opportunity to explore the Christian faith.We are proud to have won the 'Eric Cash sportsmanship trophy' for the season 2008-2009, which was awarded to the club with the best disciplinary record out of 140 teams in all 10 divisions.In July 2010 Real Riverside became an FA Charter Standard Club.This website has been developed to welcome new members, thank all the players, supporters and well-wishers, as well as to encourage you all to look forward to a brighter future in making RRFC more than just a club.
It will also be used for mainly for communicating fixtures, match reports and stats with players and fans.The Management Team aims to uphold the visions of the club, while at the same time attempting to improve on the quality, competitiveness and competence of the players and hopefully we'll see success on and off the field.
