History

Portville FC was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who met at the local pub. The club started out playing in local friendlies, but they soon joined the London City Airport League.

Portville FC have won the London City Airport League Division 1 title on three occasions, in 1998, 2003, and 2017. They have also reached the FA Sunday Cup final on two occasions, in 1999 and 2018.
