History
Portugeezers CF was founded in 1969 by a group of Portuguese immigrants who wanted to create a football club for the Portuguese community in Waterlooville. The club initially played in local leagues, but was promoted to the Hampshire League in 1977.
The club won the Hampshire League Premier Division in 1980 and 1981, and was promoted to the Isthmian League Division Two in 1982.
Portugeezers CF remained in the Isthmian League for the next 20 years, and won the Division Two championship in 1994. The club was promoted to Division One in 1995, and remained there until 2005.
In 2005, Portugeezers CF was promoted to the Isthmian League Premier Division, which is the seventh tier of English football. The club remained in the Premier Division until 2014, when it was relegated to Division One South.
Portugeezers CF won the Division One South championship in 2018 and was promoted back to the Premier Division. The club currently plays in the Premier Division.
