History
Police Machine was founded in 1975 by the then Inspector General of Police, Sunday Adewusi. The club was initially called the Police Football Club, but was renamed Police Machine in 1978.
Police Machine quickly rose to prominence in the Nigerian football scene, winning the Nigerian Premier League in 1988, 1990, 1991, and 1994. The club also won the Nigeria FA Cup in 1988 and 1994.
Police Machine's most successful period was in the early 1990s, when they were led by the legendary Stephen Keshi. Keshi was the club's captain and coach, and he led Police Machine to two league titles and the FA Cup.

Recent History
