More about the team

The Pilot FC are a locally based club, based in Canford Heath in Poole and are currently running two teams in the Bournemouth Hayward Sunday League. The club were founded in the 2012/13 season, where they initially ran with just the one team. The club then then ran two teams the following season.

The 1st Team are managed again by Andy Nisbet & Luke Punchard and are freshly promoted to the Premiership. The Reserve Team are once again being managed by Paul Titman & Scott Moran, and they will be plaing in Division 7.

Canford Heath's 'family friendly' pub, The Pilot, is the football team's HQ, and Lisa & Mark from the pub are hugely respondible for the running the club. These two have done wonders to the pub, since taking over, and for those of you that have not stepped foot in there for a while, then please make an effort to pop in for a drink, as you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's changed massively since those 'Fighter Pilot' days : and all for the better.

The brand new season all kicks off on Sunday 30th August and match days are not only about football, as ALL players are always welcomed back to the pub, where Lisa & Mark lay on some lunch and it generally ends up being a great social event.

Our home matches are generally played down at Ashdown Leisure Centre and are on Sunday mornings, with then K.O.'s being 10:30, so if any of you find yourselves at a loose end, then come on down and cheer on your local team.

The club's committee and management teams would like to wish both the 1st Team and the Reserves all the very best of luck for the 2015/16 season.

The club this season have a new Secretary, to try and keep the rabble under control. Loraine Kybert is well known in the area, as she has been involved with Dexter Sports YFC for many years. Welcome on board Loraine.
