Pen Y Bont LFC is a women's football team based in Bridgend, Wales. They currently play in the South Wales Women's & Girls' League (SWWGL) Premier Division.
The team was founded in 2018 and has since grown to a squad of 28 players. They are managed by Lee Davies and their home ground is the Bridgend Sports Centre.
Pen Y Bont LFC have been very successful in their short history, winning the SWWGL Division 2 title in 2020 and the SWWGL Challenge Cup in 2021. They are currently in second place in the SWWGL Premier Division.
The team is made up of players from all over Bridgend and the surrounding area. They are a close-knit group of players who are passionate about football.
Pen Y Bont LFC are a rising force in Welsh women's football and are sure to be challenging for trophies in the years to come.

About the SWWGL football league
The South Wales Women's & Girls' League (SWWGL) is the largest female football league in Wales. It was founded in 1998 and currently has over 100 teams competing in various divisions.
The SWWGL season runs from September to May. The Premier Division teams play each other twice, while the teams in the lower divisions play each other once.
The SWWGL also runs a number of cups, including the:
