Southern Combination Football League
The Southern Combination Football League (SCFL) is an English football league covering Sussex. It is at the ninth tier of the English football league system.
The SCFL was formed in 1921 as the Sussex County Football League. It was renamed the Southern Combination Football League in 1977.
The SCFL currently consists of three divisions: the Premier Division, Division One East, and Division One West.
The champions of the Premier Division are promoted to the Isthmian League Division One South. The bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to Division One East or Division One West.
The winners of Division One East and Division One West are promoted to the Premier Division. The bottom two teams in Division One East and Division One West are relegated to the Sussex County League.
The SCFL has produced a number of professional footballers, including Darren Bent, Glenn Murray, and Ashley Barnes.
