History
Old Bolts is the oldest football club in the North West of England. The club was founded in 1871 by a group of Bolton Wanderers supporters who wanted to play football during the summer months. The club's first home ground was at Turton Cricket Club, but they moved to their current ground, Turton Recreation Ground, in 1952.
Old Bolts have won numerous trophies in their history, including the Lancashire Amateur League Cup on four occasions. The club also reached the final of the FA Amateur Cup in 1975, where they lost to Bath City.

Old Bolts are currently in the Division One of the Lancashire Amateur League. The club is managed by Paul Fletcher and his assistant, Mark Fletcher. The team's captain is Liam Mcloughlin.
