The 2001's team is one of the Trust's most successful teams, having won the Cumbernauld & Kilsyth District Youth League title on several occasions.

The 2001's team are currently in their 23rd season. They are currently in first place in the Cumbernauld & Kilsyth District Youth League. The team is managed by Jim Sweeney MBE, who is also the Chairperson of the Motherwell FC Community Trust.
