History
MLS Stars was founded in 2020 by a group of young football enthusiasts in Sunyani. The club's name is a combination of the words "Metropolitan" and "Stars", reflecting the club's ambition to become a star in Ghanaian football.
MLS Stars started playing in the Bono Region Division Two League in 2020. The club won the league in its debut season and was promoted to the Bono Region Division One League.
In the 2021-22 season, MLS Stars finished in third place in the Bono Region Division One League. The club qualified for the promotion playoffs, but lost to Bofoakwa Tano in the semifinals.
Current Season
MLS Stars is currently in its third season in the Division One League. The club is currently in sixth place in the league table.
