Mayfield AFC are a grassroots football team based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They were founded in January 2014 and currently play in the Leafa Division 1 (East).
The team is made up of 22 players, all of whom are amateur footballers. They train twice a week and play their home games at the Mayfield Sports Complex.
Mayfield AFC have been successful in recent years, winning the Leafa Division 2 (East) in 2018 and the Leafa Division 1 (East) in 2020.
The team is managed by Fraser Whitelaw, who is also the club's chairman.

About Leafa Football League
The Leafa Football League is a Scottish amateur football league based in Edinburgh. It was founded in 1987 and currently has over 100 teams playing in its various divisions.
The league is divided into four divisions: Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4. Each division is further subdivided into two leagues: East and West.
The season runs from August to May, with each team playing each other team in their division once. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next division.
