Loggerheads Football Club is a non-league football club based in Market Drayton, Shropshire, England. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in the Potteries and District Sunday League Premier Division.
History
Loggerheads FC was founded in 1970 by a group of local men who wanted to play football together. The club started out in the Market Drayton and District League, and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1980, Loggerheads won promotion to the Potteries and District Sunday League, where they have remained ever since.
The club has enjoyed some success in recent years, winning the Potteries and District Sunday League Premier Division title in 2019. Loggerheads have also reached the final of the Shropshire FA Sunday Cup on two occasions, in 2018 and 2022.
Ground
Loggerheads FC plays their home games at The Loggerheads, a ground in Market Drayton. The ground has a capacity of 100 spectators, and is located on the outskirts of the town.
