Legend FC was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team that would be based in Liverpool. The team started out in the Liverpool Sunday League and quickly rose through the divisions.
In 2015, Legend FC joined the Liverpool District Football League. The team has since won the league title on three occasions.
