The club was founded in 1972 and are nicknamed "The Brakes". They have won the John Bryan Coventry Minor Football League title on four occasions, in 1998, 2004, 2010 and 2019.
The club's home kit consists of black shirts, white shorts and black socks. Their away kit is yellow shirts, black shorts and yellow socks.

The league is divided into three divisions: the Premier Division, Division One and Division Two. The Premier Division is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the league.
The league season runs from September to May and each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division and the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
