Lawnswood Football Club is a youth football club based in Leeds, England. The club was founded in 1964 and currently plays in the Leeds School West League.

History

Lawnswood Football Club was founded in 1964 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football. The club started with just one team, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has teams from Under-7s to Under-18s.

The club has won numerous trophies over the years, including the Leeds School West League Cup in 2015 and 2017. The club has also produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play professional football, including Lewis Cook, who currently plays for AFC Bournemouth.

Ground

Lawnswood Football Club plays its home games at Lawnswood Playing Fields, which is located in the Lawnswood area of Leeds. The ground has two pitches, one of which is floodlit.

Leeds School West League

The Leeds School West League is a youth football league for schools in the west of Leeds. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in it.

The league is divided into three divisions, with the top division being the Premier Division. The league also has a cup competition, the Leeds School West League Cup.

The Leeds School West League is a popular and well-respected league. It provides a great opportunity for young players to develop their skills and compete against other good teams.
