L'AFFINITÉ has won the Cameroonian Elite One championship on three occasions, in 1972, 1974, and 1975. The club has also won the Cameroonian Cup on one occasion, in 1973.
History
L'AFFINITÉ was founded in 1970 by a group of students from the University of Douala. The club's name is derived from the French word "affinité", which means "affinity" or "connection".
L'AFFINITÉ quickly became one of the top clubs in Cameroonian football. The club won its first Cameroonian Elite One championship in 1972, and followed that up with titles in 1974 and 1975. L'AFFINITÉ also won the Cameroonian Cup in 1973.
However, L'AFFINITÉ's success has been limited in recent years. The club has not won a major trophy since 1975, and has struggled to stay in the Cameroonian Elite One.
