LA COSTA B was founded in 1968 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club in the La Costa area. The club's first team played in the Liga Amateur de Fútbol de La Costa until 1995, when they were promoted to the Primera D Metropolitana.
LA COSTA B has never won a major trophy, but they have finished as runners-up in the Primera D Metropolitana on three occasions. The club's highest ever finish was in 2009, when they finished in fourth place.
