Shortly after Lewis Singleton’s death in 2007 his friends and family started a campaign called Knives-Ruin-Lives. To raise awareness in Southampton and promote the campaign, his friends felt that a good way to remember him by would be to set up a football team and play in his memory.

History

The team was founded in 2007 shortly after the death of Lewis Singleton. Singleton's friends and family started a campaign called Knives-Ruin-Lives to raise awareness of knife crime in Southampton. They felt that a good way to remember Singleton would be to set up a football team and play in his memory.

The team started out playing in the Hampshire Sunday League. They were promoted to the City Of Southampton Sunday Football League in 2012.

K.R.L are currently in 10th place in the City Of Southampton Sunday Football League Premier Division. They have won 1, drawn 2, and lost 7 of their 10 games so far this season.
