Kingsmere United FC was founded in 2016 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the Bicester & District Sunday League and won the league title in their first season. In 2018, the team moved up to the Banbury District & Lord Jersey Football League.
The team has been steadily improving since then and finished in third place in the league in 2021-22. The team is hoping to challenge for the league title in the upcoming season.
