History
Kailash FC was founded in 1960 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club quickly rose through the ranks of the Gujarat State League and won the title in 1970. Kailash FC has also won the Gujarat State Cup on three occasions, in 1971, 1978, and 1985.
The club's most famous player is Suresh Chaturvedi, who played for India at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Other notable players who have played for Kailash FC include Babulal Parmer, Pratapsinh Barot, and Dinesh Upadhyay.
Recent Performances
Kailash FC finished third in the Gujarat State League in the 2021-22 season. The club also reached the semi-finals of the Gujarat State Cup.
