History
ISA FC was founded in 1977 by a group of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The club's name is an acronym for "Inspire, Serve, Achieve".
ISA FC made its debut in the Ghana Premier League in 2000. The club has since finished as runners-up in the league on two occasions, in 2003 and 2012.

ISA FC's home stadium is the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. The stadium has a capacity of 40,000 spectators.
