IB SPORTS DREAMS FC was founded in 2010 by Ifeanyichukwu Benjamin. The club's mission is to "develop young footballers into world-class players." The club has a strong youth development program and has produced several players who have gone on to play professionally in Nigeria and abroad.

The club's U-17 team has been particularly successful. They have won the national championship on three occasions (2016, 2018, and 2022). They have also represented Nigeria at the FIFA U-17 World Cup on two occasions (2017 and 2023).
