Hutchison Vale Colts Football Club
Hutchison Vale Colts Football Club is a community youth football club based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was founded in 1940 and currently has over 400 players in teams from Under-6s to Under-18s.
The club's home ground is Saughton Enclosure, which is located in the Saughton area of Edinburgh. The ground has a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
History
Hutchison Vale Colts Football Club was founded in 1940 by a group of local residents. The club's first team competed in the East of Scotland Amateur League.
In the 1960s, the club's youth teams began to achieve success, winning a number of trophies. In 1967, the Under-16 team won the Scottish Junior Cup.
In the 1990s, the club's senior team moved to the East of Scotland League. The team has won the league championship on three occasions, in 1993, 2000, and 2007.
