The team was founded in 2019 and currently has two teams, one for boys and one for girls. The boys' team plays on Saturdays and the girls' team plays on Sundays.

The team is coached by a team of volunteers and the players range in age from 7 to 8 years old. The team trains on a weekly basis and plays matches against other teams in the YDYFL.

About the York and Ryedale Mitchell Sports Football League

The York and Ryedale Mitchell Sports Football League (YDYFL) is a football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 18 years old. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 teams playing in it.

The YDYFL is affiliated to the North Riding Football Association and is a member of the Football Association's National League System. The league's top division, the Premier Division, is at Step 7 of the National League System.
