History
HOPE RANGERS was founded in 2009 by a group of local businessmen and community leaders. The club's first chairman was Salim Bakari.
HOPE RANGERS quickly rose through the ranks of Kenyan football, winning promotion to the Kenyan Premier League in 2013. The club's best finish in the top flight came in 2014, when they finished in sixth place.
In 2016, HOPE RANGERS were relegated from the Kenyan Premier League. The club has since been playing in the National Super League.
