Home Boyz Football Team

Home Boyz is a football team from Gamle Oslo, Norway. The team was founded in 1995 and currently competes in the 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of Norwegian football.

History

Home Boyz was founded in 1995 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team for young people in Gamle Oslo. The team quickly gained popularity and began to compete in the lower leagues of Norwegian football. In 2005, Home Boyz won promotion to the 3. divisjon, the third tier of Norwegian football. The team remained in the 3. divisjon for two seasons before being relegated back to the 4. divisjon in 2007.

Home Boyz has been a regular in the 4. divisjon since 2007. The team has never won promotion to a higher league, but has consistently finished in the top half of the table. In 2019, Home Boyz reached the final of the Norway Cup, the largest youth football tournament in the world. The team lost the final to Stabæk, but the achievement was a major milestone for the club.

Home Boyz's home ground is the Ekebergsletta kunstgressbane. The stadium is located in the Ekeberg district of Oslo and has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
