History
Helsingin Akatemia was founded in 2017 by a group of parents and players who wanted to create a competitive football team for young people in Helsinki. The team started out in the Kolmonen, the third tier of Finnish football, and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2021, they won promotion to the Kakkonen, the second tier.
The team's home ground is the Töölö Stadium in Helsinki. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
