Headhunters Football Club
Headhunters Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Liverpool, England. The club was founded in 1997 and currently plays in the North West Counties Football League Division One.
The club's home ground is the Bootle Sports Ground in Bootle, Merseyside. The ground has a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
History
Headhunters Football Club was founded in 1997 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club that was open to everyone, regardless of their background or ability. The club's first team started playing in the Liverpool County League Division Two.
In 2003, Headhunters Football Club moved up to the Liverpool County League Division One. The club remained in this division until 2010, when they were promoted to the North West Counties Football League Division One.
Headhunters Football Club have never won a major trophy. However, the club has reached the final of the Liverpool County League Cup on two occasions, losing in 2004 and 2005.
