Harrison Chukwu Football Team is a Nigerian football club based in Garki, Abuja. The club was founded in 2005 by Harrison Chukwu, a former professional footballer.
The club plays in the Nigeria National League, the third tier of Nigerian football. They have never won the league title, but they have finished as runners-up twice, in 2010 and 2015.
History
Harrison Chukwu Football Team was founded in 2005 by Harrison Chukwu, a former professional footballer who played for clubs such as Enugu Rangers and Heartland. The club was formed with the aim of developing young footballers in Garki and Abuja.
The club quickly rose through the ranks of Nigerian football, and in 2010 they reached the final of the Nigeria National League. They lost the final to El-Kanemi Warriors, but they had established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
In 2015, Harrison Chukwu Football Team again reached the final of the Nigeria National League. This time, they were victorious, beating Crown FC to win the title.
Recent seasons
Harrison Chukwu Football Team have struggled in recent seasons. They have finished in mid-table in the Nigeria National League in each of the last three seasons.
However, the club is still one of the most popular teams in Garki and Abuja. They have a large fan base, and they are always a threat to the top teams in the Nigeria National League.
