The Hamburg Hurricanes I are an English speaking amateur football club based in Hamburg, Germany. They were founded in 1992 by a group of expats and currently compete in the Kreisliga Hamburg-Nord, the ninth tier of the German football league system.
History
The Hamburg Hurricanes I were founded in 1992 by a group of expats who wanted to play football in an English speaking environment. The club quickly grew in popularity and now has over 100 members from over 25 countries.
The Hurricanes have won the Kreisliga Hamburg-Nord championship on three occasions, most recently in 2019. They have also reached the final of the Hamburger Pokal, the cup competition for amateur clubs in Hamburg, on two occasions.
