Hall Rd Rangers was founded in 1946 by a group of friends who wanted to play football in the Hull area. The club started out playing in local leagues and gradually worked its way up the divisions. In 1997, Hall Rd Rangers won the Humber Premier League and were promoted to the Northern Counties East League. The club has remained in the Northern Counties East League ever since.
